Role Playing Philosophy
Here at Lunia, we are not playing a video game. We are creating a story. A rich setting, full of detail, interesting characters that grow emotionally throughout the story. Our aim is to create a thrilling journey, not to cater to the rapid clicking, hack and slash bonanza that so many RPGs have come to stand for. Think about the last book you read. How many people did you favorite main character kill? Was there a reason? How did he feel after…
Those that know me, know that I am all about sword play, however, a book would eventually get old if the main characters just moved from dungeon to dungeon, from peasant village to peasant village, throwing down with the bad guys and slaughtering them all, over and over. So why would this be fun in a roleplaying game??? Well…it isn’t.
